Board Exam Results 2025 Live Update: As the academic year draws to a close, lakhs of students across India are eagerly awaiting their board examination results for 2025. While official confirmation from various state education boards is still pending, tentative timelines have been estimated based on past trends, ongoing evaluations, and examination schedules.

This article offers a detailed overview of the expected result declaration dates for four major school education boards— CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), Punjab (PSEB), Madhya Pradesh (MPBSE), Himachal Pradesh (HPBOSE), and Jharkhand (JAC). Along with projected result dates, readers will find useful information on pass percentages, exam conduct, and post-result procedures.

CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education)
The CBSE Class 10th and 12th exams were conducted from February 15 to April 4, 2025. The results are expected to be announced between May 7 and May 12, 2025, with results likely to be declared around 1:00 PM IST. The evaluation process is anticipated to conclude by the end of April 2025, making the May timeframe plausible for result declaration. Students can access their results on official CBSE websites such as cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbseresults.nic.in.

Punjab board is expected to declare Class 10th and 12th results between April 30 and May 5, 2025. Historically, results are announced through a press conference by the board chairperson, followed by online result links.
In 2025, Class 10th exams ran from March 10 to April 4 in a single shift from 11:00 AM to 2:15 PM, while Class 12th exams were held from February 19 to April 4 during the same hours. Practical exams for vocational and NSQF subjects took place in phases—Class 12th from January 27 to February 4, and from April 2 to April 17 for other subjects. Class 10th practicals for NSQF subjects occurred from February 27 to March 4.

Approximately 2.81 lakh students registered for Class 10th, and around 2.84 lakh for Class 12th. The pass percentages in 2024 were 97.24% for Class 10th and 93.04% for Class 12th, with girls outperforming boys by 1.64% and 5% respectively.

Results will be available on official portals like punjab.indiaresults.com and digilocker.gov.in, accessible via roll number or registration details. SMS and DigiLocker options are also provided. Original marksheets will be issued by schools within 10–15 days after result declaration.

MP board results are expected in the first week of May 2025. While no official date has been announced, results are traditionally declared around 4:00 PM through a press conference.
Class 10th exams took place from February 27 to March 19, and Class 12th from February 25 to March 25, both in a single morning shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Practical exams occurred from February 10 to mid-March for Class 10th and until March 25 for Class 12th.

In 2024, roughly 8.21 lakh students appeared for Class 10th and 7.27 lakh for Class 12th. The pass percentage last year was 58.10% for Class 10th and 64.49% for Class 12th, with girls outperforming boys by over 7%.
Students can check their results on mpresults.nic.in or mpbse.nic.in using their roll number. Original marksheets will be distributed by schools post online result publication.

HP board is likely to announce Class 12th results by late April or early May 2025, followed by Class 10th results between May 7 and May 14. These results are usually declared during a press conference, with online portals activated shortly thereafter.
This year’s Class 10th exams were held from March 4 to March 24, and Class 12th from March 4 to March 29, both from 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM. Practical exams occurred from February 21 to February 29, with extended schedules for remote areas like Pangi, Lahaul, and Spiti until April 3.

Approximately 95,000 students registered for Class 10th and about 90,000 for Class 12th. In 2024, the pass percentage was 74.61% for Class 10th and 73.76% for Class 12th, with girls continuing to outperform boys by 5–6%.
Results can be checked on hpbose.org or third-party portals using roll number details. SMS and DigiLocker services are also available. Original marksheets will be distributed within two weeks of result announcement.

Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) is expected to release Class 10th and 12th results during the second week of May 2025, with announcements scheduled between 11:30 AM and 3:00 PM. In 2024, Class 10th results were declared on April 19, while Class 12th Science and Commerce results were announced on April 30, and Arts on May 30.

This year’s Class 10th exams took place from February 11 to early March, with Class 12th exams held in the afternoon shift. Practical exams for both classes were conducted from January 27 to February 3.


Approximately 4.5 lakh students appeared for Class 10th and around 3.5 lakh for Class 12th. The pass percentage in 2024 was 90.39% for Class 10th; for Class 12th, pass rates varied by stream—Science at 72.70%, Commerce at 90.60%, and Arts at 93.16%. Girls outperformed boys by nearly 2.5%.


Results will be accessible on jacresults.com, jac.jharkhand.gov.in, and jharresults.nic.in. SMS and DigiLocker services are also enabled. Official marksheets are issued by schools within 2–4 weeks after result declaration.
