Manchurian Recipe

A crispy, flavorful Indo-Chinese dish!

Ingredients

 1 Cup finely shredded cabbage  1/2 Cup finely shredded carrot  1/4 Cup cornflour  1/4 Cup all-purpose flour  1/2 Tsp ginger-garlic past  1–2 Chopped green chilies  1/4 Tsp black pepper  Salt to taste  Oil for frying

For the Sauce:

 1 Tbsp soy sauce 1 Tbsp vinegar 1 Tbsp tomato ketchup 1/2 Tsp sugar 1 Tbsp cornflour mixed in 1/4 cup water Fresh coriander for garnish

Fry the Manchurian Balls

FilHeat oil in a pan. Fry the balls in batches until they are golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.l in some text

Prepare the Sauce

 A tablespoon of oil in a pan.  Add chopped green chillies and sauté for a minute. Add soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, and sugar. Stir well.

Add Cornflour Slurry

Add the cornflour slurry (cornflour mixed with water). Stir the sauce until it thickens.

Combine the Balls with Sauce

 Add the fried Manchurian balls into the sauce.  Gently toss to coat them evenly.

Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with fried rice or noodles.
